Voter Registration Deadline for General Election


The General Election will be Tuesday, November 8, 2022 at the Town Hall, Old Town Road. In order to participate, you must be registered to vote in New Shoreham on or before Sunday, October 9, 2022. You may register at the Town Clerk’s Office, Town Hall, Old Town Road, Block Island during regular business hours Monday through Friday 9:00 to 3:00. On Sunday, October 4, 2022 you may use the elections drop-box outside of Town Hall (registration forms will be available). Register to Vote

Voters must register 30 days before an election. You must be registered to vote from your actual place of residence. Voter registration forms are available at Town Hall or from the RI Secretary of State's website. You may register in person at Town Hall or at the DMV, or by mail:
